Vision
This website aims to propagate Indian poetry by translating it into English.It also
aims to offer a selection of World Poetry. It is a non-profit venture which does
not accept advertisements and provides free access to all viewers.

The Editor is a Gujarati Poet who has authored about a dozen books translated into
several languages. Pradip Khandwalla, a management scholar, is an alumni of Wharton
School and Carnegie-Mellon University. He has authored three books of poems in English
and one in Gujarati. Dileep Jhaveri is a Modernist poet writing in Gujarati as well
as English. Collections of his poems have been published in both languages, as also
a volume of translations in Irish. Gabriel Rosenstock is an IRISH Poet, playwright,
haikuist, essayist, novelist, short story writer, author/translator of over 180
books, mostly in Irish. Member Aosdana Irish Academy of Arts & Letters. Bill Wolak
is an American Poet and translator who has been awarded several National Endowment
for Humanities Scholarships and two Fulbright-Hayes Scholarships and whose critical
works have appeared in Notre Dame Review, Southern Humanities Review, Paterson Literary
Review etc..
We are grateful to various Translators and Poets and to Sahitya Akademi for having
permitted us to display the translations. We acknowledge the help and encouragement
